Toshiba Qosmio X770 with 3D

Toshiba updated its high-end Qosmio line with the new X770, specifically designed for people who like to play video games or need to use graphic intensive applications such as video editing. Featuring the new NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M graphics processor with 1.5GB of discrete graphics GDDR5 memory and battery-saving Optimus technology, the X770 configurations offer either the 2nd Generation Intel Core i5 or i7 processors, up to 8GB RAM, hard drive storage options scaling up to 1.2 terabyte (2 hard drives, 500 hybrid HDD with 4Gb of built-in flash memory, and a 750 GB HDD) and a choice of two 17.3-inch TruBrite LED backlit displays, a standard 1600×900 resolution or a full HD 1920×1080 resolution.

In addition to the built-in harman/kardon speakers that you also get in the new Satellite P700 series, the Qosmio X770 features a subwoofer with sound enhancement technologies from Dolby and MaxxAudio 3 by Waves Audio, and the sound is great! As usual for this type of state-of-the-art laptop, you will get plenty of ports, USB 3.0 and the latest from Toshiba smart port technology: USB Sleep & Charge and Toshiba Sleep & Music that lets you listen to music when the computer is turned off.

If you really like to wear glasses, you can buy the X770 3D, featuring NVIDIA 3D Vision technology, that offers stereoscopic 3D entertainment for gaming, movies, photos. This version only gets up to 1.2 terabyte of storage, the regular X770 features a maximum of 1 terbyte.

The Qosmio X775 3D carries as MSRP of $1,899.99 MSRP while the regular Qosmio X770 Series starts at $1,199.99 MSRP and will be available later this month at major retailers, e-tailers and direct from Toshiba at ToshibaDirect.com
