Sony VAIO S 15.5-inch Glasses-free 3D Laptop At IFA 2011

The Sony VAIO S is a new 15.5-inch glasses-free 3D laptop that has been
introduced at the IFA 2011. The laptop offers an optional VGP-FL3D15A
“glasses-free” 3D panel, allowing you enjoy an immersive
three-dimensional viewing experience without wearing 3D glasses. Powered
by the Microsoft Windows 7 OS, the new VAIO S comes jam packed with the
second generation Intel Core family processor, a 6GB DDR3 RAM, a 750GB
5400rpm hard disk drive or an optional SSD, a Blu-ray drive, a 1920×1080
resolution display, and a 1GB AMD Radeon HD 6630M + Intel HD Graphics
3000. Other specs include 2 USB 2.0, 1 USB 3.0, stereo speakers with
Dolby Home Theater v4, HDMI, WiFi, 3G WWAN, a backlit keyboard, a
dedicated numeric pad, an ambient light sensor, a 1.3MP HD web camera
with the “Exmor” technology, and a touchpad with gesture support. Its
battery offers up to 6.5-hour of operation time. The Sony VAIO S
15.5-inch laptop will be available in Europe next month for $1,835
upwards.
